3 Channel Monitor: Configuration

The 5” Monitor [PM-1960S] and 7” Monitor [PM-1970S] are 3-channel HD LCDs with button controls and a built-in speaker. This article details the configurations available for these devices.

While this device typically does not require any post-installation configuration, it is encouraged that installers understand the available configurations so they can adjust the monitor to best fit the fleet’s operational needs.

An exception to this is when the monitor is installed in a Hazards configuration, which requires minor display configuration to trigger the split-screen image as expected.
