The 5” Monitor [PM-1960S] and 7” Monitor [PM-1970S] are 3-channel HD LCDs with button controls and a built-in speaker.

Power & Modes
Monitors are powered by the ignition of the vehicle they're installed on; when a vehicle is powered on, the monitor also turns on in one of two modes:
-
Standby mode – the display is darkened, and the power [
] button is lit red.
-
Active mode – the display shows the view from a connected camera, and the power [
] button is lit green.
Press the [
] button to switch between the two modes.
Regardless of the monitor’s mode, a vehicle trigger signal will automatically display the corresponding camera. Once the signal ends, the monitor returns to its previous state. Similarly, when the vehicle and monitor are fully powered off, the monitor saves its last mode and resumes it when the ignition is turned back on.
Button Controls
The 3-Channel monitors feature control panels with six (6) buttons under the display. The function of each of the monitor’s buttons changes depending on what the monitor is actively displaying:
On the main screen:
- [ - ] Decrease the monitor’s brightness
- [ + ] Increase the monitor’s brightness
- [ ∇ ] Display or hide the current camera view’s parking lines
- [ M ] Open and cycle through the monitor’s menu screens
-
[ S ] Cycle to the next camera view
In a menu screen:
- [ - ] Decrease the selected configuration
- [ + ] Increase the selected configuration
- [ ∇ ] Cycle to the next configuration option in a menu
- [M] Cycle to the next menu screens
The one exception to this is the power [⏻] button, which exclusively controls the monitor and displays its status, as explained above.
Locking/Unlocking
The lock feature disables the screen and button controls and displays a "LOCKED" notice. To lock/unlock the screen:
- Press and hold the "M" button until the monitor reads "LOCKED" or "UNLOCKED."
