Quad Monitors: Operation

The 7” and 10.1” Quad Monitors are highly configurable 4-channel displays with touchscreen, button, and remote controls.

In this Article:

Powering the Monitor

The Quad monitors (once installed) are powered by the vehicle’s ignition. When the vehicle is on, the monitor turns on one of two modes:

  • Standby mode – the display is darkened, and the power button is lit red.
  • Active mode – displaying camera feed(s) with the power button lit green.

Press the monitor’s power button to switch between the two modes. Alternatively, swipe up on the display to switch to active mode and down to standby mode.

When the vehicle is turned off, the monitor stops receiving power and shuts off. When the vehicle’s ignition is back on, it will return to the state set by its "Power On" configuration.
