SecuraMax-Admin: Replacing a Device

Whenever a device is replaced, the original device (DVR, Bodycam, or Drive Recorder) should be disabled to free up a SecuraMax device license. Devices are disabled through the "Devices" page.
  1. Navigate to the devices page by going to "Admin" in the top navigation bar and selecting "Devices". This requires the "Manage Devices" administrative user permission.
  2. Locate the old device that is to be replaced within the list on the right side. Use the search button to assist.
  3. Disable the device to be replaced by clicking the slide switch to change the status from "Enabled" to "Disabled".
  4. Add a new device using the left navigation bar (Add DVR, Add BC4). See these articles for more details:
