Pro-Vision’s mobile video technology includes a wide range of products, many of which can be installed in a vehicle and connected to create a complete system that best fulfills a customer’s vehicle and operational needs.
Vehicle systems are typically categorized into four types based on the primary function they perform for a customer: Vision Systems, Recording Systems, Vision & Recording Systems, and the Birdseye 360° AI System.
Vehicle systems can additionally be enhanced with accessories, allowing them to better suit or serve a fleet’s specific needs. This may include Wireless Components, Object Detection Kits, or a partner integration solution.
Vision Systems
These are used exclusively to provide a driver with enhanced visibility into the vehicle’s blind spots. The core of a vision system is the monitor, which powers and displays the vehicle’s cameras.
Common use cases for vision systems include backup and side cameras, as well as industry-specific applications such as hopper cameras in waste vehicles and passenger cameras in transportation.

Recording Systems
These systems store critical footage from a vehicle’s cameras through a DVR (Digital Video Recorder), which powers the cameras and is configured to record depending on the fleet’s needs.
Pro-Vision’s main recorder is the Ranger DVR, which supports up to eight AHD cameras. Additionally, the Ranger may be purchased as a 4G unit, which enables live features that allow the vehicle’s connected cameras to be viewed remotely in real time.

Vision & Recording Systems
Provide visibility into the vehicle’s blind spots while storing critical footage by combining a DVR and in-cabin monitor into a single system. Up to eight AHD cameras can be powered and recorded by the Ranger DVR, while the monitor (depending on the device) displays up to four camera views.
Example System
Side Cameras, a rear Heavy Duty Camera, and an interior Mini Dome Camera connected to the 10.1” Quad Monitor and Ranger DVR.

Birdseye 360° AI System
A comprehensive vision, recording, and detection system that creates a real-time top-down “Birdseye” view of a vehicle and its surroundings, providing 360 visibility around the vehicle, automatically detects and alerts the driver to any nearby pedestrians and vehicles, and records critical footage for documentation.
Rather than a combination of devices, the Birdseye is a complete system with its own unique monitor and cameras. The monitor is the system’s main interface, allowing a user to configure the entire system’s functionality.
The Birdseye DVR can also be purchased as a 4G unit, enabling remote video retrieval and automatic software updates.

Accessories
Wireless Components
Wireless Receivers, Transmitters, and Cameras enable recording in areas of the vehicle where running permanent cabling would otherwise be impractical or impossible.
Example Vision System with Wireless Components
Wireless Transmitter connected to a rear Low Profile Camera & Wireless Receiver connected to a 7" 3-Channel Monitor
Object Detection Kits
Rear View Radar, Side View Radar, and/or Ultrasonic Sensors are Object Detection Kits that automatically detect and alert a driver to nearby hazards.
These components can be added to a recording system or installed on a vehicle as a standalone safety measure to alert a driver with the included buzzer, or added to a vision system to alert visually and audibly via a monitor.
Example Side View Radar Kit
