Recording devices like the Ranger DVR and the DR-200 record continuously by saving "Event" videos (flagged as important by driver or vehicle input) and overwriting non-event videos.
When a DVR is registered to a storage software like CloudConnect or SecuraMax, event videos are automatically transferred to the platform when the DVR connects to a Wi-Fi network.
If the unit was in use before registering with the storage software, it may have a backlog of event videos; each time the unit is connected to a network, it will transfer the oldest event video in the DVR's memory. To prevent this, manually transfer the unit's event videos from its local storage to a computer.

Locate and open the external memory.
- This will display folders and files stored on the DVR's SD card.
-
