DR-200v2: How to Factory Reset

Factory resetting a device will revert all settings on the unit to the setting that it was shipped from the factory with. Factory resetting is typically done if a significant problem with existing settings exists or if moving the unit from one vehicle to another.

Factory Resetting the DR-200v2 Unit:

1. Unlock and open the SD card door on the side of the unit.
2. Press and hold the “Stop” button for 15 seconds (Note: a single beep sounds after 7 seconds; keep holding until reaching 15 seconds).
3. After two beeps are heard (about 15 seconds) release the stop button.
4. The unit will reset and then reboot with factory default settings.
