CloudConnect-Admin: Stop Arm Camera Gen2 Page & Permissions

Pro-Vision's Stop Arm Cameras automatically capture evidence of Stop Arm Violations. Pairing this device with CloudConnect allows users to automatically upload stop arm violation evidence to a secure cloud and easily manage it from any Wi-Fi device. 

CloudConnect's Stop Arm Violations page is a dedicated interface for users to review Stop Arm Camera Gen2 violation event files. To view this interface, a CloudConnect admin must enable it and assign CloudConnect users Stop Arm Permissions.  

Enable the Stop Arm Interface

  1. Log into CloudConnect with an admin account.
  2. From the left navigation pane, click "Admin" and "Site Settings" from the admin menu.
     
  3. In the "Settings" page, locate and click the "Stop-Arm Configuration" tab. 
  4. In the "Stop Arm Configuration" tab, click the checkmark under "Stop Arm Violation Review" to "Enable advanced Stop-Arm Violation Review interface."
  5. In the "Stop Arm Violation Event Default Email Recipient(s)" field, type the email(s) of individuals who should receive event information shared for "Review" from the Stop Arm Interface. 
  6. In the top left corner of the "Settings" page, click the [Save all] button. 

Permissions

Admins generally assign permissions through "Roles," which group users with similar responsibilities, but specific users can also have personalized permissions. 

Assign a "Role" Stop Arm Permissions

  1. Log into CloudConnect with an admin account with active "Editing Roles" permissions.  
  2. On the left navigation pane, click "Admin" to open the admin menu and "Roles" to load the "Roles" page.
  3. On the "Roles" list, locate the desired role, click the left "Actions" button to display the action menu, and click "Edit."
     
  4. This action displays an "Edit Role" module with two tabs: "Role properties" and "Permissions." Click on the "Permissions" tab.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list or use the search bar to locate "Stop-Arm Violations."
      • The "Permissions" tab displays permission folders organized by hierarchy.

  6. Check the box next to the "Stop-Arm Violations" permission (shown above). 
  7. Click the blue "Save" button on the bottom right corner of the modal.  

Assign a "User" Stop-Arm Permissions

  1. Log into a CloudConnect admin account with active "Users" and "Changing permissions" access.   
  2. On the left navigation pane, select "Admin" to open the admin menu and "Users" to load the "Users" page.

  3. The "Users" page displays a list of existing users and a search bar with a "Show advanced filters" toggle navigation tools. 
  4. Locate the desired user by typing their name in the search bar or scrolling through the alphabetically ordered list.
  5. Click the blue "Actions" button in the user row and select "Permissions" from the actions menu.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the list or use the search bar to locate "Stop-Arm Violations."
      • The "Permissions" tab displays permission folders organized by hierarchy.

  7. Check the box next to the "Stop-Arm Violations" permission (as shown above). 
  8. Click the blue "Save" button in the bottom right corner of the modal.
