The A/V (Audio-Video) Extension cables extend the output of a connected camera up to 30 m (approximately 98 ft). This allows camera systems to be installed on most vehicles, regardless of their size or routing complexity.
There are two types of extensions available: standard and armored cables. Standard cables are the most commonly used installation accessories, while armored cables have the same inner composition and function, but are encased in a stainless steel braid for enhanced protection.
Any combination of these cables can be used to extend the connection, as long as the maximum 30-meter extension is not exceeded. nly as far as necessary to avoid coiling or damaging excess cabling.
