PD-1902 Ranger DVR: Output Display Configuration

The Ranger DVR will, by default, display all cameras on the connected CVBS or HDMI output. However, the DVR's configurations allow you to easily select the specific connected cameras for display. 

Connect to the DVR's Wi-Fi

  1. Turn the bus key and verify the status LED on the DIVR or the event marker button lights are solid green.
  2. On a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, enable the Wi-Fi and locate and select the Ranger’s network.
      • The default Wi-Fi name will begin with “PV_Ranger_xxxxxx”. The last 6 characters are unique to the DVR unit.
  3. Type in the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
      • The default Wi-Fi password is doesitall
  4. Open a web browser on the device and type 192.168.1.254 to open the Ranger’s webpage.

Configure the Display Settings

  1. Open the "Settings" menu in the top right corner.
  2. Click on "Display." 
  3. This might prompt a sign-in pop-up. Type the login credentials and click "Sign in."
      • Default username: admin
      • Default password: doesitall
  4. On the "Display Settings" page, click on the toggle under "Camera View(s) Displayed on Monitor. "
  5. The "Camera View(s)" are the cameras output to a connected device, the selected cameras showing highlighted in blue at the top of the list.
  6. Click any of the cameras that shouldn't display, leaving only the desired cameras highlighted in blue.
