SecuraMax: Installing Live View

SecuraMax Live View allows users to view real-time video and audio from active devices. To use Live View, the user must be given specific live permissions by their site administrator and have the Pro-Vision Live View desktop app downloaded and set up. 

Downloading the Software

  1. From the SecuraMax site, select the profile icon on the top right corner of the navigation bar to open the drop-down menu, and select "SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS". 
  2. Locate the "PV Live View" section and click the green "DOWNLOAD" button.
  3. This will download "PVLiveView-win-Setup.exe" onto the user's computer. Locate and select the file so the installation can be completed. 
  4. The user may then choose to locate and open the Pro-Vision Live View app from their computer or via the SecuraMax site, which will open the app with a pre-selected device(s)/user(s) video feed.
        

Opening the Pro-Vision View Live App for the first time

  1. When the desktop View Live app is opened for the first time, it will prompt the user to select their product. Click "SecuraMax".
  2. A second system message will prompt users to enter their SecuraMax site address. Type or copy and paste the appropriate SecuraMax company address (e.g., myCompany.securamax.com).

  3. The app will briefly redirect the user as it authenticates through the SecuraMax website. Once the site is authenticated, the desktop Live View app should open automatically. Otherwise, relaunch the app.
