Remove one side of the provided 3M VHB tape and attach to the camera bracket 5. Press bracket with 3M tape on a hard surface for about 20-30 seconds to create a good bond between bracket and tape. 6. Remove the other side of material protecting the VHB tape and affix camera to window in desired location. 7. Press and hold camera and bracket to window for about another 20-30 seconds. 8. Adjust camera and carefully tighten side screws, making sure not to pull camera off window.

NOTES/TIPS:

If window has blue tint on top portion of window, try to mount camera below that point to avoid shading the camera lens, resulting in a darker recorded image.

The front window camera can be mounted lower on window to have it in the wiper blade path if desired. Be aware of the possibility of obstructing the driver’s view with lower window mounting positions.

  1. LOCATE WHERE YOU WILL GET YOUR POWER CONNECTIONS.

  1. Most conventional buses have a power distribution center that can be accessed through a panel door located on the outside of the bus below the driver’s window.

  1. Thomas C2 and 2022/23 Bluebird buses do not have the outside panel access. Power points on these vehicles can usually be found underneath the switch panel located on the left hand side of the driver’s seat.

  1. Power distribution on cutaway buses (short bus) can usually be found in the compartment over the driver’s head or in the compartment in the front bulkhead.

  1. Some older buses may not have the outside panel, requiring looking for the power distribution/fuse box behind the switch panels next to the driver’s seat.

  1. Unique vehicles may require searching out for the vehicle’s fuse box location.
