Multiplexers Overview

The Multiplexers combine the feed of connected cameras into a single split-screen output for a monitor, recorder, or other connected device. These devices connect to the vehicle's battery to power the cameras and the ignition to receive a "wake up/power on" signal.

2 Channel Multiplexer

The 2-Channel AHD Multiplexer [P/N: 8090387] joins two (2) cameras in a side-by-side configuration and has a single light that indicates when the device is powered on.

4 Channel Multiplexer

The 4-Channel AHD Multiplexer [P/N: 8090388] joins two (2) to four (4) cameras in one of three (3) view outputs: 2 Camera (side-by-side), 3 Camera (one above, two side-by-side), or 4 Camera (quad). The Multiplexer's lights indicate the status of the device and its connected cameras.

To change the view mode, start the vehicle to power the device and its connected cameras, and press and hold the “Set View” button on the front panel for 5 seconds. The device will automatically recognize and adjust to the number of detected cameras.
